At Heal Your Health, every personal training session is more than exercise—it's an act of love for your body, your story, and your future.
I'm not just here to guide your movement—I'm here to walk beside you with genuine care, holding space for your growth, healing, and wins, big or small.
Stretch, Speak, and Let Go
We begin each session with intentional stretching, somatic movement, and gentle conversation. This is a time to explore and release limiting beliefs about fitness, self-worth, or anything else holding you back.
These moments can be both tender and transformative. Somatic practices, supported by research in polyvagal theory and trauma recovery (Porges, 2011; Levine, 1997), calm the nervous system and create profound shifts, emotionally and physically.
This stretch also warms your muscles, preparing your body for safe, powerful movement.
Movement That Empowers
Next, we train. You’ll get a full hour of movement customized to your goals and energy level that day.
Whether we hit the gym, run stairs, or hike outdoors, our focus is always on building strength that feels empowering, not punishing.
Exercise stimulates brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF), a protein that enhances mood, memory, and resilience (Ratey, Spark, 2008). This isn't just about what your body can do but what it’s becoming.
Post-Workout Stretch: Restore and Reset
After your workout, we take time to stretch—this time to release the muscles you just worked.
When we don’t lengthen contracted muscles, they can stay tight, reducing mobility and increasing discomfort. A 5–10 minute cooldown helps your muscles return to their natural resting length, supports fascia health, and prevents stiffness and injury.
Stretching helps to keep your body agile, balanced, and ready to move freely.
End with Deep Restoration
We close each session with 30 minutes dedicated to nervous system recovery.
You can choose from:
A relaxing massage chair session
A grounding guided meditation
A deeply restorative hypnotherapy experience
These techniques lower cortisol, increase serotonin, and help your system shift into a state of rest, repair, and renewal.
