First off, I would love to honor and hold space for all individuals trying to heal and create new paradigms in their life. Changing and growing is one of the greatest and most influential things that we can do for ourselves. I wish you peace, self-love, growth, and connection through your journey.
One of the theologies of breathwork is that trauma can be accrued through several avenues. First, cellular memory is created from experiences you have had, and the trauma is stored in your tissues. This is the most common form of trauma we as a society work with. A second source of trauma is generational; traumatized DNA that has been passed down from your ancestors. And third, past lives, where your spirit has trauma within it that is passed forward through lifetimes. Trauma is considered very difficult to avoid completely. We have built-in defenses such as ignoring, shoving down, putting off, and closing off to what we are feeling. Our subconscious is so good at keeping us safe and creating the belief that staying where we are physically, emotionally, and mentally, is the best action possible; but in reality, issues are abiding and asking to be dealt with. I suggest that the true solution to peace in this life is opening up, creating space, and loving yourself enough to search for the most effective tools for your healing.

Memories and traumas that are buried alive never die. They may remain dormant for a while but will most assuredly return. It seems the universe is wired this way. We get a little inkling that something needs to be dealt with. We ignore it, and it comes knocking again, “Please deal with me now.” But it never seems convenient; we simply don’t have the time or are not observing completely. Some possibilities that you may experience could include things such as blocking manifestation, feeling sad or angry consistently, or reliving the same scenarios over and over.
So, LET’S DEAL! - Enter Breathwork.
I, as a facilitator, will energetically clear space so you can feel safe, centered, and grounded. Usually, we do this with prayer or meditation. This brings together the mind, body, and spirit for one cause - your healing. Prayer and meditation calm the mind and bring you and your body into the present moment. This creates anti-anxiety synapses and presence-inducing comfort.

Heal Your Health, also has essential oils and crystals if you feel drawn to the healing energy they provide.
The breath is a fantastic tool for healing PTSD and facilitating trauma release. It resets the Central Nervous System to a calmer, more open place and creates a connection with the Greater Self, your Divine Self. You can completely integrate your mind with the physical body, where it may be ready to release emotional or physical blockages, making room for new energy.
TRUST your body’s wisdom, ALLOW and permit your emotions to flow. AVOID getting stuck in the stories, HEAL.
Know that you are being held so deeply in safety and care. Know that angels and energy sources are always available to support you compassionately. I, as the facilitator, want nothing but the best for you. Your process to find peace is my greatest joy! (Not that it's about me.:)
I’m not saying every experience is blissful; there are times we are left with work to do. Other times your experience may be mind-expanding (the subconscious mind can come up with pretty cool conceptions!), and sometimes the experience is very calm. No matter how it all goes down, they are always healing. Anything you experience in a breathwork session is for your good, and that is the truth. There is no need to fear.
Some things you could possibly experience in a breathwork session somatically would be energy running through arms, hands, fingers – anywhere in your body. I remember my first session and several since; the somatic energy was so powerful! I felt so much energy pushing blood around, oxygenating, and healing without a doubt!
Other physical aspects you could experience are twitching or tetany. Tetany is when your fingers and the top of your hands fold inward. This is usually an invitation to let go and release something you may be emotionally, energetically, or physically holding onto.
You could experience memories. The memories can be viewed as if you were watching TV, or you could be fully in them. Why are they coming? What are you supposed to learn from them? Keep in mind that these memories could be something you have never experienced; they could be ancestral trauma release or ancestral wisdom.

Another release you may experience is emotions; all emotions are welcome, regardless of their variety. Sometimes I would be crying, and that turns into hysterical laughing, then back to crying again! All of it is cathartic and a representation of letting emotions and traumas go.
Purging is common and can come in many ways, sweating, tears, mucous (blow, don’t sniff), thick saliva (spit into a Kleenex, don’t swallow), movement, shaking, shivers, etc.
Some sessions are calm; some are loud and episodic. It doesn’t matter what kind of experience you have; just know your experience is for your benefit. You are healing because you are willing to breathe.
The breath has never let me down, and it continues to express itself in ways that bring me forward in life with confidence and care. As one of my friends said at the end of his breathwork session, “Laura, I feel I have been called; I must move forward now.”
Please come knowing that the Self (you) is limitless and amenable to change. Come believing that the spiritual self precedes the body and is wise. Wiser than you know.
You have chosen to come and experience this life, your family, your trials, and your successes. This belief system proposes an agency that exists before this life begins. The choice continues to be yours.
Namaste.
